“The Shack” joins Blood Bash 2023!

We are pleased to announce the next film in the Blood Bash 2023 International Horror Film Festival & Convention – – – – – The Shack – An Atmos-Fearic Thriller!

The Shack comes to us from the United States, making it the SIXTH film from The USA to be selected for BB23! It was written, and directed by Dark Hoffman, and produced by Gary Trinklein. It stars Justin Mane and has a runtime of 15 minutes even.

The official synopsis of the movie:
“A father and son’s hunting trip goes terribly wrong.”

The Shack is not only the sixth film to make the festival that comes from the United States, it is also from right here in the state of Michigan!!! It’s not in based on local bias though, it’s in strictly on merit, and this film delivers, we promise you! It has been selected to be a part of dozens of horror film festivals, and we are pleased to announce that Blood Bash can now be added to that list!

Our judges are still determining the final standings for the film festival, so we don’t know if this movie will be screening on Friday night as part of our Semi-Final lineup, or on Saturday as part of our Finalists lineup! Stay tuned to find out, though, as we will make that announcement this month!

Blood Bash 2023 is an International Horror Festival and Convention coming to the Commonwealth Commerce Center in downtown Jackson, Michigan, that will be happening on Friday, February 10th, and Saturday, February 11th, 2023! Friday night is FILM FESTIVAL BONUS NIGHT that will show all of our Semi-Finalists, as well as have an exclusive Friday Night Only Gaming Experience (find out more on that later,) and SATURDAY, February 11th, is the MAIN CONVENTION day, and will feature the FINALISTS, the Scream Queen Contest, the Cosplay Contest, all of the video gaming and carnival gaming, and of course, the belle of the ball, OUR VENDOR ROOM!!! Saturday is the biggest day for sure, but if you want to experience EVERYTHING that Blood Bash has to offer, we highly recommend buying the 2 day pass so you can see all 44 films!!

$10 for Friday Night Film Festival Bonus Night
$15 for Saturday’s Main Convention
$20 for 2-Day Pass that gives you BOTH days of movies!
$5 – Kids tickets that are good for either / both days! Remember, though, this is a HORROR FILM FESTIVAL, so don’t bring kids too young.
