“The Barber” buzzes into Blood Bash 2023’s film festival lineup!

We are pleased to announce the next film in the Blood Bash 2023 International Horror Film Festival & Convention – – – – – The Barber!

The Barber comes to us from Ukraine, making it the first film from Ukraine to be selected for BB23! It was written, directed, and produced by Sergiy Pudich, stars Sebatian Anton and Yuriy Sorge, and has a runtime of 8 minutes even.

The official synopsis of the movie:
“The brutal biker comes to the barbershop when it was already closed, but the barber still agreed to make the last cut…”

This is the first of TWO movies selected this year that were both directed by Sergiy Pudich, making him the first director ever to have two movies selected at the same Blood Bash! His directorial style definitely makes an impact, too, as The Barber has screened at and won a lot of awards at various film festivals! His other movie that will be screening at Blood Bash 23 is The Peeper.

Our judges are still determining the final standings for the film festival, so we don’t know if this movie will be screening on Friday night as part of our Semi-Final lineup, or on Saturday as part of our Finalists lineup! Stay tuned to find out, though, as we will make that announcement this month!

Blood Bash 2023 is an International Horror Festival and Convention coming to the Commonwealth Commerce Center in downtown Jackson, Michigan, that will be happening on Friday, February 10th, and Saturday, February 11th, 2023! Friday night is FILM FESTIVAL BONUS NIGHT that will show all of our Semi-Finalists, as well as have an exclusive Friday Night Only Gaming Experience (find out more on that later,) and SATURDAY, February 11th, is the MAIN CONVENTION day, and will feature the FINALISTS, the Scream Queen Contest, the Cosplay Contest, all of the video gaming and carnival gaming, and of course, the belle of the ball, OUR VENDOR ROOM!!! Saturday is the biggest day for sure, but if you want to experience EVERYTHING that Blood Bash has to offer, we highly recommend buying the 2 day pass so you can see all 44 films!!
