“Mansplaining” Joins The Film Festival Lineup For Blood Bash 2023!

We are pleased to announce the next film in the Blood Bash 2023 International Horror Film Festival & Convention – – – – – Mansplaining!

Mansplaining comes to us from Mexico, making it the SECOND film from Mexico to be selected for BB23! It was directed by Manolo Castro, written by Javier Carreon, and produced by Jair De Rubin. It stars Alessandra Pozzo and Jair De Rubin, and has a runtime of 16 minutes and 32 seconds.

The official synopsis of the movie:
“What was supposed to be an ideal and romantic dinner becomes a bloody and sadistic nightmare due to she was a victim of “Mansplaining”.”

In the spirit of Stephen King’s “Misery,” Mansplaining will definitely have you squirming for mercy! It features some of the more, shall we say, “uncomfortable” scenes in all of the film festival, and you’re probably going to want to take a bite out of this one!

Our judges are still determining the final standings for the film festival, so we don’t know if this movie will be screening on Friday night as part of our Semi-Final lineup, or on Saturday as part of our Finalists lineup! Stay tuned to find out, though, as we will make that announcement this month!

Blood Bash 2023 is an International Horror Festival and Convention coming to the Commonwealth Commerce Center in downtown Jackson, Michigan, that will be happening on Friday, February 10th, and Saturday, February 11th, 2023! Friday night is FILM FESTIVAL BONUS NIGHT that will show all of our Semi-Finalists, as well as have an exclusive Friday Night Only Gaming Experience (find out more on that later,) and SATURDAY, February 11th, is the MAIN CONVENTION day, and will feature the FINALISTS, the Scream Queen Contest, the Cosplay Contest, all of the video gaming and carnival gaming, and of course, the belle of the ball, OUR VENDOR ROOM!!! Saturday is the biggest day for sure, but if you want to experience EVERYTHING that Blood Bash has to offer, we highly recommend buying the 2 day pass so you can see all 44 films!!
