“Be Careful What You Say” has been selected to be a part of Blood Bash 2023!

Be Careful What You Say comes to us from Turkey, making it the first film from Turkey to be selected for BB23! It was written, produced, and directed by Buğra Mert Alkayalar. İrem İskenderoğlu also shares producing credits. It stars Atakan Yalci, Isil Yilmaz, Serhat Onbul, Baris Gunaydin. It has a runtime of 15:00 even.

The official synopsis of the movie:

“Sometimes, human life can change with a tiny word. A dubbing artist does not pay attention to what he says in the studio at midnight, and the ancient one wakes up. He will find himself in great horror.”

Be Careful What You Say has been a part of over 20 film festivals, and has several wins under it’s belt. We are delighted to have it as a film to be viewed at BB23!

Our judges are still determining the final standings for the film festival, so we don’t know if this movie will be screening on Friday night as part of our Semi-Final lineup, or on Saturday as part of our Finalists lineup! Stay tuned to find out, though, as we will make that announcement this month!

Blood Bash 2023 is an International Horror Festival and Convention coming to the Commonwealth Commerce Center in downtown Jackson, Michigan, that will be happening on Friday, February 10th, and Saturday, February 11th, 2023! Friday night is FILM FESTIVAL BONUS NIGHT that will show all of our Semi-Finalists, as well as have an exclusive Friday Night Only Gaming Experience (find out more on that later,) and SATURDAY, February 11th, is the MAIN CONVENTION day, and will feature the FINALISTS, the Scream Queen Contest, the Cosplay Contest, all of the video gaming and carnival gaming, and of course, the belle of the ball, OUR VENDOR ROOM!!! Saturday is the biggest day for sure, but if you want to experience EVERYTHING that Blood Bash has to offer, we highly recommend buying the 2 day pass so you can see all 44 films!!
