Lay Them Straight comes to us from the Canada, which becomes the 2nd film from our neighbors to the north to be represented at Blood Bash 2022! Full cast & crew below!

Synopsis/ Tagline:

A teenage girl battling obsessive compulsive disorder has to run the gamut of school bullies every day, until a traumatic event convinces her that her disorder may be an indication of supernatural powers.

Lay Them Straight is just one of our SIXTY short films, from NINETEEN countries that were selected for this year’s Blood Bash! We don’t know if this movie will be a finalist, semi-finalist, or an honorable mention, as that decision lies in the hands of our pre-show judges! But we DO know that this movie beat out over 2500 other short films to get IN to the festival, and that is something to be proud of!

**Blood Bash 2022 is Jackson, Michigan’s annual international horror film festival and convention! It will be held at the Commonwealth Commerce Center on February 12th, 2020 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm (main vendor room hours) and feature over 40 tables of horror vendors, 60 independent horror shorts, a few bonus feature-films, cosplay contest, scream queen contest, free carnival games, video games, and tabletop games! There is also a FILM FESTIVAL BONUS NIGHT on Friday, February 11th from 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM! Blood Bash is held every year the weekend before or after Valentine’s Day! So if you’re in the midwest, or especially in Michigan, and you’re a sucker for blood, guts, and gore, make sure to come to Blood Bash and get your fill of horror!**
